Project:
kar is an electronic reading device that enables people to search, buy and read e-books easily.
It has several features like font adjustment, highlighting a section, taking notes, bookmark and many others.
Prototype:
The aim of this prototype is to show the main usage scenario to people at the final presentation.
Vast majority of the audience were not familiar with e-readers, therefore I need to prepare a prototype that shows main features as well as small details.
AIM
I had to explain what this device does, how it is used, what its features are. Because the audience at the final jury were not familiar with e-readers and I needed to prepare a prototype about first its main functions and then its key features.
At the jury, I had a limited time and there were lots of sections and features to show, so I had to use my time wisely. First I prepared a scenario for the functions that I want to show. My plan was to create a linear scenario, so in every page they would use only the page that I want to show.
As a result, I put fingerprint in different colour as a hint in every page. In this way users would be able to view the page and move on to the next page when they wist according to the scenario.

23: Home page (to start)
The prototype has 23 pages in total. In every page there is a fingerprint to show the next page.
The scenario is prepared to show how to search and buy a book through the device, open, read, make adjustments, highlight a section in the book and find the notes and highlights that you made earlier.
This is a little summary of a general usage of this device. There are many other features to show and the prototype could be more detailed but the scenario was useful for the audience to feel that experience in a short time.
