Project:
LibraryONE is an online library for academic resources. It allows users to reach all open-source documents and lets them to use their institutional accounts for more exclusive resources.
Prototype:
A new interface is designed according to the findings after research. This prototype is prepared to test it with same participants to see if it offers a better experience.
AIM
After an efficient research phase, several major obstacles related with user experience identified. As a next step, a user-centred interface for a digital library was designed.
Even though the new design focuses on eliminating these issues, it was needed to be tested. Therefore, a prototype is required.
This prototype is to test those issues that identified earlier. A number of pages and sections were prepared to create a research experience like users used to have.
While it presents a research experience from searching to downloading, it shows its features and usual functions to users.
Therefore users would be able to compare their experience on LibraryONE with previous experiences.

USER JOURNEY
A user journey is required to test the new design. It would demonstrate the path that users would go.
After discovering users' habits and way of researching, I created a user journey to test it. It covers all the issues and design solutions.
It starts at home page and continues with account add function. After the results page with advanced search and sorting options, it moves to book page.
At book page, it is possible to test several features including add to list functions. Also accounts and lists pages are there to test it.
